“I’m so stoked I worked with Izzy to capture some beautiful moments in my haputanga. She worked so hard to find the perfect setting and weather conditions and the results were incredible, well worth the effort! We got up before dawn on a morning where she’d determined the sky would be perfectly clear for a stunning sunrise and drove out to an ocean spot together, carrying a bunch of wild flowers I had collected the night before. She made me feel so relaxed even as I stripped nude and waded into the freezing water and her direction was clear and easy. The images she captured of me in the water as the sun rose turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined. And I felt so revitalised after the adventure as I hadn’t done a dawn mission in a while since I’d stopped surfing late in my haputanga. I am so grateful for this experience and these images.
